This was shot when I returned home from work. The little video camera on my cell phone really doesn’t do this justice. We can now appreciate the healthy trees we have — since before they just got lost in the fray. We’ve got apple, cherry, sugar maple, shagbark hickory, ash, and one oak. Hopefully it wont be too long before we can get a nice lawn crankin’ back there…

We have numerous dead and almost-dead trees on our property… some of which are very close to the house. Often times when builders put up houses, they bring in tons of fill to make the lot suitable for construction. Unfortunately, they tend to cover the base of nearby trees which ends up suffocating them.

We decided to hire a tree service to come in and remove the too-close-for-comfort trees and everything that was dead. This video was shot before I left for work.
